Dear College Avenue Friends,
The poet William Yeats once asked why we should only honor those who die on a field of battle when we can show as much daring, as fierce a courage, in entering the abyss of ourselves?
It’s true. One of the bravest things we can do is sit with ourselves for a few quiet moments, to see what we can see.
I dare you to do that this evening, Wednesday September 19, in our workshop on meditation from 7 to 8 pm in the sanctuary. It might be the most courageous thing you’ve done in a long time!
