Class: THE LEMON TREE

The New York Times Best-selling book THE LEMON TREE by Sandy Tolan tells two intricately woven stories about a house: built and inhabited by Palestinians and later taken and inhabited by European Jews.

For this class, taught by Will Tanner (our field-ed seminary student from Pacific School of Religion), we will read THE LEMON TREE and meet weekly to enjoy discussion and reflection on this complex history and theology.  You do not need to know anything about the Palestinian / Israeli conflict; THE LEMON TREE tells it all!  Come and we will learn together!

Wednesdays, 6pm – 7pm, beginning February 2, Fireside Room

Please bring a copy of THE LEMON TREE and a Bible.
