Outreach Presentation – Wed., May 11

Long-time activist and retired MJC instructor Dan Onorato will present a multi-media program on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In August 2005 Onorato spent two weeks in Israel and the West Bank as part of an Interfaith Peace-Builders delegation. The group met with officials, activists, and organizations—both Israeli and Palestinian—involved in working for a just and lasting peace. Onorato’s talk will explain the realities of Israel’s occupation of Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem, and will highlight the courageous and inspiring work of both Israelis and Palestinians working for peace.

Wednesday, May 11, 7pm, Fellowship Hall.
