Dear College Avenue Friends
Do we need to make sure our church is here in 15 years? Why? For what purpose? How do we get equipped to carry out that purpose?
These important questions are the reason for this Friday’s “Arabian Nights” event. After a scrumptious Moroccan dinner, we’ll engage in some fun activities to help us envision our church as a base camp where we get equipped to climb mountains in our community and world. Then on Sunday, to keep us on track following our base-camp adventure, I’ll begin a sermon series on “Getting Equipped for the Climb”–our worship theme through September.
Don’t miss out on how to equip yourself to grow spiritually as you participate in our church’s calling to make a difference in our world. If we don’t get equipped for the climb, we can forget the mountains. I never want to forget the mountains! How about you?
