Christmas Pageant Production Meeting, Wed., July 13, 6pm

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It’s not even July and its time to begin planning our Christmas Pageant for December!

If you’d like to be on the creative planning team (book, costumes, set), please come to our first production meeting! All are welcome!

If you’d like to be a performer, actor, or dancer (you don’t have to come to the production meeting), we’ll have a special cast meeting in August. All ages are welcome. Rehearsals will begin shortly thereafter.

Youth Have/Have-not Dinner – Sat., Apr. 16, 4pm

All junior high and senior high youth are invited to participate in the “Have/Have-not Dinner” held at Modesto Church of the Brethren on Saturday, April 16, from 4pm-7:45pm.

This event will help youth understand–in a dynamic, creative way–the distribution of wealth in our world and the challenges it brings.

We’ll meet at College Avenue, caravan to MCOB, then return to College Avenue.

Must sign-up with Rob by April 3 (so tickets can be purchased). The cost is free to our youth.

Sync & Drag: Love! Love! Love! – Friday, March 11

Sync & Drag is back!

The theme of our annual Student Ministries lip-sync-show fundraiser is Love! Love! Love! Be prepared to experience some love songs in ways you never have before!

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children twelve and younger. Tickets will be on sale in the Fellowship Hall following Sunday morning worship.

All proceeds will benefit Student Ministries programs with 10% going to our UCC Share.

CROP Hunger Walk – March 26, 9:30am

Join us for our annual CROP Hunger Walk to benefit Church World Service and Modesto Interfaith Ministries. We’ll meet at Geneva Presbyterian Church and walk either a 2 or 4 mile route. Dogs welcome. Saturday, March 26, 9:30am-12pm
