Are your buildings and bathrooms wheelchair accessible?

Yes! All of our buildings are wheelchair accessible.  Our sanctuary and youth building have wheelchair accessible bathrooms.

Is this a gay church?

Diversity is a source of our joy!  We proudly belong to the United Church of Christ!  And, just like the wider UCC, our congregation welcomes and affirms everyone, wherever they are on life’s journey.  We are a diverse crowd, made up of people from all sexual orientations, gender identities, ages, races, and faith experiences. Do you offer any recording of the service in case I am away or homebound?

Yes! Each of our services are recorded onto CD. If you’d like a recording of the service, please contact the church office at office@cacc-ucc.org or call (209) 522-7244.  You can also stream our service online by clicking our Worshiping link.

In what languages are your services?

Currently, our services are offered in English only.

Is there childcare during worship?

Yes! Childcare is provided for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Our childcare staff has been carefully screened in accordance with our Safety Policy which serves to protect children.

Can I tour the facilities?

Yes! After worship each Sunday morning, members from our welcoming team will be happy to give you a tour of our facilities.

Do I have to put money in the offering plate?

No! We encourage you to write down something that you are thankful for and place it in the offering plate as it passes by.

Does the church have a budget? How are things paid for?

Our congregation approves a budget every January during our Annual Meeting. The budget is based on financial pledges made by everyone in the congregation.

How often do you celebrate The Lord’s Supper or Communion?

We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of every month.

Can I participate in Communion?

Yes! Our celebration of Communion is open to all, regardless of your age or if you’ve been baptized!
